Problem Description:
To build the XC4000 RAM and ROM components in Viewlogic, the Xilinx libraries
use Viewlogic created primitives. These primitives, needed for simulation,
not for schematic entry, are:
RAM16.1
RAM32.1
ROM16.1
ROM32.1
In the pre-Unified libraries, the above components are located in the x4000
library. In the Unified libraries, they are located in the xbuiltin library.
Solution 1:
When specifying RAM or ROM components for an XC4K design, use any of the
following components located in the x4000 and xc4000 libraries:
RAM16X1.1, RAM16X2.1, RAM16X4.1, RAM16X8.1
RAM32X1.1, RAM32X2.1, RAM32X4.1, RAM32X8.1
ROM16X1.1
ROM32X1.1
Do not use the following components located in the x4000 and xbuiltin
libraries:
RAM16.1, RAM32.1
ROM16.1, ROM32.1
