Problem Title:
BBS: Getting control characters on screen in graphics mode
Problem Description:
Solution 1:
When you are logged on to the BBS you have a choice of being in
Graphics mode or pure ASCII text mode (typing "M" toggles between the
two modes). Graphics mode will give you color menus and graphics.
If getting a lot of control characters on his/her screen
when in Graphics mode, check the communications software's
terminal setting--it should be set to either ANSI or BBS-ANSI.
You must also have ansi.sys called out in you config.sys file. If
it is not, add the line and reboot the machine to allow the change
to take affect.
