Problem Title:
SYMGEN 5.2, XDM 5.2: XDM Appears to hang when SYMGEN is invoked
Problem Description:
When running SYMGEN with the -v option from XDM on a workstation, XDM
may appear to hand if SYHMGEN encounters an error.
Solution 1:
SYMGEN enters an interactive mode which requires input, but the message requesting input is not disp
layed by XDM. Terminate SYMGEN by pressing
CTRL-C in the XDM window, and then run SYMGEN in a UNIX shell.
