PPR 5.0: TNM placed on a net does not get traced forward to all elements![]() Record #420
Problem Title: PROBLEM: A TNM on a net is not getting traced forward to all the elements on that net. ANSWER: In XACT 5.0.0 TNM's on nets only trace froward to flip flops. The TNM's do not add themselves to logic, RAMS, ROMS, TBUFS or LATCHES. This means that a TNM on a net connected to a G pin of a LATCH will not get applied to the LATCH. This also means that the TNM will actually trace forward through any LOGIC that may be in the net path UNTIL it finds a FF to attach itself to. The same is true for the WE pin on a RAM.
