Solution 1:
When running FPGA Compiler version 3.1a with version 3.01 of the
Xilinx-Synopsys interface and XACT 5.0, the following error may occur:
Synopsys Compile error: Cannot read this version of library:
<design>.syn
Please re-analyze this source.
If the customer is running:
A patch is necessary to work around this problem. The patch name is
SC401-SN2-C v3.01B and is available from Xilinx.
