PROBLEM:
Using MAKEBITS 5.0 with a proven XC3000 design and part no longer
configures, in a design where the done timing is critical
CAUSE:
The default for done high was late done (-xa) for version 4.31 of
MAKEBITS and is now early done (-xb) for 5.0. This change eliminates
some possibilities for contention and is preferred, however users of
5.0 with older designs and systems should note the change in done timing.
SOLUTION:
Use the -xa switch with 5.0 to be compatible with a system
developed with older software that expects late done.
