Answers Database PPR 5.0: Possible cause of Error 5607: Design has not been flattened Record #483 Problem Title: PPR 5.0: Possible cause of Error 5607: Design has not been flattened Problem Description: Solution 1: PROGRAM: PPR VERSION: 5.0 PLATFORM(s): ALL ERROR MESSAGE: *** PPR: ERROR 5607: Design has not been flattened.        PROBLEM: PPR may issue the above error message when the input              design targets an XC3000A/L or XC3100A family device. CAUSE: The .MAP file was generated for an XC3000 or XC3100 device.              .MAP files for XC3000/3100 devices are different than .MAP              files for XC3000A/L or 3100A devices. The former cannot              be read properly by PPR.        SOLUTION: Run XNFPREP and XNFMAP again, targeting the correct              family.
