General Description: (

Data I/O programmer complains that it is 4 bytes short when calculating the
checksum of a 17128D (v4.7 algorithm)

CAUSE:
The Data I/O Unisite 4.7 17128D algorithm erroneously included the 4 bytes
that determine the prom's reset polarity in its calculation of the PROM's
checksum.


Solution 1:

Data I/O programmer complains that it is 4 bytes short when calculating the
checksum of a 17128D

The problem will be fixed in the 4.8 release scheduled for March 1995.
