PROsynthesis PC INSTALL: PC locks up/crashes while installing, possible cause
Problem Description:
You see a blank Message box with yes and no buttons.
PC locks up or crashes while installing PROsynthesis.
Solution 1:
Due to level constraints in the PKUNZIP program, PROsynthesis must be installed
at root level. Consequently, the DS-VLS-EXT package must be installed at root
level on the PC. The Xilinx installer has a bug that will cause problems
if the path is longer than this is used.: C:\PROSER6\L
Keep the path short for PROsynthesis.
