PROCAPTURE: cannot recognize the Xilinx C key. (No valid license for product)
Problem Description:
If the PRO Series software sees a ViewLogic key on the same port as the
Xilinx C key, the ViewLogic key hostid will override the Xilinx C key hostid
and the Software will return an error message.
If the user proceeds by selecting OK, PROcapture will run in a DEMO mode
which will allow the user to enter a design, but not save it.
CAUSE:
The PRO Series software has been re-written for explicit use with the Xilinx
C key and can only be used with the Xilinx C key. The PRO Series software
looks for a ViewLogic key first and then a Xilinx C key. When it finds the
ViewLogic AA or AB key, it returns the hostid and ends its search for a
Xilinx C key. Because the license.wv file is not licensed for a ViewLogic
key, PROcapture will only run in DEMO mode.
Solution 1:
Remove all ViewLogic keys.
