VIEWLOGIC PROFLOW 6.0: Will continue executing after Xilinx errors occur.
Problem Description:
Xilinx PROflow does not stop processing if an error in a subtool occurs.
Because there is little interaction between Xilinx PROflow and the
executables that it calls, it cannot determine if a processing step has
completed successfully. To this end, Xilinx PROflow must always run every
step when processing a design. This includes functional simulation,
synthesis translation, implementation, and timing simulation.
Solution 1:
Always review the output log files when processing to verify that
processing has occurred successfully.
