Problem Title:
XSIMMAKE/CHECK: Gives Error 7 when run from the Design Manager (PROSERIES)

Problem Description:

Solution 1:

PROGRAM: xsimmake, check

VERSION: 5.1.1

PLATFORM: PC

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

CHECK issues error 7 if run while ProCapture is also running.

ERROR MESSAGE:

ERROR 7: Command [check.exe -p DESIGN] failed to execute properly.
1 Error and 0 Warning occured during processing.

LONG DESCRIPTION:

PROBLEM:

CHECK -p gives error 7 when it is run from the Design Manager and displays only the two header lines (versions #,...) in a DOS window, when executing
XSIMMAKE.

CAUSE:

This can be caused by ProCapture. If Procapture is open when you start a
functional/timing simulation flow (with xsimmake), check may stop.

SOLUTION:
Make sure that you close Procapture each time you want to run the simulation
tools.

Solution 2:

If PROsim is also open, try closing PROsim window also.
