Protel v2.4 doesn't support CLB primitives
LONG DESCRIPTION:
PROBLEM:
Version 2.4 of the PROTEL XNF 5.0 Netlister fails to write out the required
"CFG" records. A CLB record should look like this:
SYM, $1I1359, CLB, SCHNM=CLB
CFG, BASE FGM
CFG, CONFIG X:M
CFG, EQUATE F=B*~A
CFG, EQUATE G=B*~A
PIN, A, I, FA0
PIN, B, I, FA1
PIN, C, I, FA2
PIN, D, I, FA3
PIN, E, I, FA4
PIN, X, O, FD23
END
However, there is no way to make the netlister output these "CFG" records. This
will result in an unconfigured CLB.
CAUSE:
This is a bug in the PROTEL netlister. According to PROTEL, this is will be
fixed in version 3.0 of their software.
SOLUTION:
Use a CLBMAP instead of the CLB primitive.
