Problem Description: If WinProbe is installed but not running, there have been cases where Translate will hang and a hard reboot is necessary. CAUSE: There is a conflict with win32s files and what WinProbe installs. Solution 1: SOLUTION: Turning off Winprobe, cleaning off win32s with the rmwin32s.bat script and reinstalling win32s 1.25.142.0 let the flow work. rmwin32s.bat is available on the XACTstep CD, in \XBBS\UTILS. If a program which affects win32s is installed and has an effect that results in 5.2/6.0 program failures, remove/turn off the offending program, clean off and the reinstall win32s.
