Design Manager 6.0.1: Attempts to Rename the Design Name causes System Error
Problem Description:
In the Design Manager Project View, you can select the various icons
and rename them. However, if you select the design folder (top-leftmost
icon) and attempt to rename it, the following system error will occur:
SYSTEM ERROR
UndefinedObject(Object)->doesNotUnderstand:
Xds>>nameElement
MenuBarButtonController>>dispatchMenuSymbol:
MenuBarButtonController>>dispatchMenuSelection:
[]optimized
Solution 1:
The rename command is not supported for the design folder icon in Design
Manager 6.0. The SYSTEM ERROR has no effect on the project and you can
continue using the project. The default name the Design Manager assigns
to the design folder is the top level input design filename.
