What is the usage of the X_SUH cell in the SIMPRIMS library?
Solution 1:
This SIMPRIM model has to do with the guaranteed IOB Setup/Hold times that
Xilinx lists in the databook. For these guarantees to hold, the setup/hold time
measurements have to be made between the clock and data inputs right where
these signal enter the chip, instead of the data and clock pins of the IOB flops.
NGDANNO will insert as many X_SUH models in the backend netlist as
necessary to perform these setup/hold checks in order for Xilinx to guarantee
correct functionality if these checks are satisfied.
