Hardware Debugger 6.0.1: Hardware Debugger may issue an EMM386 error or hang on invocation.
Problem Description:
On some machines, the Hardware Debugger may give an EMM386 error or simply
hang when it is invoked. On some machines this behavior may be due to an
out of date serial port driver called SERIAL.386 found in the Windows for
Workgroups SYSTEM sub-directory.
Solution 1:
Make sure that the target board and download cable is connected and powered
before invoking the Hardware Debugger.
