**Obsolete Solution**: XABEL-CPLD: Possible cause of General Prot. Faults, and being disconnected from Internet/network
Record #1038
Product Family: Software Urgency: Standard General Description: We have seen at least one case where a Windows file which XABEL-CPLD 6.1 installed may cause the user to be frequently disconnected from an Internet/FTP server, and experience General Protection Faults associated with these disconnections. The XABEL-CPLD 6.1 install program overwrites a file called "CTL3D.DLL" in the Windows\System directory. The version of the file that it installs is an older version that that which is required by the Internet tools. Solution 1: Copy the file "CTL3D.DLL" from the Xact\Data directory into the Windows\System directory. This version of the file is a newer one. End of Record #1038 - Last Modified: 07/29/99 18:26 |
