Record #1188
Problem Title:
BOUNDARY SCAN/JTAG: Timing Parameters (rise time, fall time, max frequency) for TMS,TCK, and
TDI
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
Where is the TAP timing data for the Xilinx devices?
Solution 1:
Virtex specifications can be found at the end of the Switching
Characteristics Section of the 1999 databook.
http://support.xilinx.com/partinfo/virtex.pdf
Solution 2:
XC4000X, Spartan and Spartan XL, refer to
the XC4000E section of the databook. For the faster parts, this is a
conservative number.
XC4000E Boundary Scan (JTAG) Switching Characteristic Guidelines
are available in the latest 4000e datasheet on page 6-116.
