General Description:

The XC1700D/L series devices are now supported again by Data I/O
on the Unisite/2900/3900/AutoSite/ChipLab and 2700 programmers
as of August 17, 1996.

Customers need to contact Data I/O to download the new algorithms since
all algorithms shipped prior to this will not work reliably.

Note that there are NO VERSION NUMBERS for the extended algorithms from
DATA I/O. Customers should just look on Data I/O's BBS for the latest
algorithms for Xilinx XC1700 serial PROMs.
