However, the 5k has neither BUFGP's (primary global buffers) nor BUFGS's (secondary global buffers) in its architecture. These types of buffers are found only in the 4k architecture. The global buffers in the 5k (and there are 4 of them) are known as BUFG's. Solution 1: Avoid using either the BUFGP or the BUFGS symbols in a 5k design. Even though the BUFGP and BUFGS symbols in the 5k schematic library are really just macros of BUFG, to prevent any confusion between the 4k and 5k architecture, only the BUFG should be used.
