Problem Title:
M1: EDIF2NGD doesn't recognize the parttype from a Viewlogic EDIF file.
Problem Description:
If you add the parttype in a Viewlogic schematic as an
unattached attribute and generate an EDIF file with
EDIFNETO, EDIF2NGD will not recognize the parttype.
Solution 1:
To work around this problem, put a config symbol on
the top level sheet and attach the part=<parttype>
attribute to this symbol. This will cause the
attribute to be written into EDIF file in a way that
EDIF2NGD can recognize it.
