Workview Office: Viewsynthesis SML semantic errors during synthesis: %PIN_LOAD
Problem Description:
While synthesizing an XC4000E design in Viewsynthesis 7.2 or earlier, the
following errors may occur:
Library 'XC4000E' is in database.
SML parser warnings _errors:
semantic error on or before line 48 in %INPINS section -
%PIN_LOAD statement is missing.
(this repeats a few times, complaining about %PIN_LOAD and %MAX_LOAD)
Solution 1:
There is a problem with the xc4000e.sml file that was shipped with Workview
Office 7.2. A newer version of this file is available on our FTP site:
ftp://ftp.xilinx.com/pub/swhelp/viewlogic/4ke_sml.zip
Place the xc4000e.sml file in your C:\WVOFFICE\STANDARD directory,
replacing the existing file.
