EZTag Cable: May have problems programming 9500's from computers with EPP port


Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description:
There is a known issue with using the EZ-Tag (JTAG) cable
to program 9500 devices on some computers that have an
Enhanced Parrallel Port (EPP) capability. The problem is
with contention on the TDO signal, and it appears to
the EZTAG software as either a bad program, verify or erase.


Solution 1:

There is a new EZTag cable being shipped that fixes this problem.
The newer cables have a serial number starting with 5000.
The order number is HW-JTAG-PC1.

Note: Only customers with EPP ports should see this problem.
