General Description:
An ultra low cost XC7336 CPLD based design is available to
support serial programming of high density XC4000E/EX FPGAs.
The application emulates a 1M-bit SPROM.
The design consists of an XC7336 CPLD, a byte-wide EPROM, and
an on-board oscillator. The design was created using
XABEL-CPLD and simulated for timing using Viewlogic's
Viewsim(TM) simulator. A prototype was built and tested on a
generic circuit board.
