Are M1 BIT files compatible with XCHECKER 5.x?
Problem Description:
The M1 toolset does not contain a stand alone non-GUI based download tool as xchecker was in XACT-St
ep 5.x. In M1 the Hardware Debugger is the download tool.
BIT files generated by BITGEN M1.x can also be downloaded to devices with xchecker 5.x; However, for
devices that were not supported by XACT 5.x (ie xc4000EX/XL) download with an .rbt file is all that
can be used. Other xchecker functions, such as readback, cannot be performed.
Solution 1:
There are not any plans to change this.
