Foundation: After copying a project, some files are missing

Record #1986

Product Family: Software

Product Line: Aldec

Product Part: Foundation Project Manager

Problem Title:
Foundation: After copying a project, some files are missing

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description:
After copying a project using the File -> Copy Project
command, opening the new project reveals that some files are
missing, or the project cannot be opened due to missing
files.

Solution 1:

The 'Copy Project' command does not report an error if the
destination drive fills up. If the destination drive for the
copied files is full or fills up during the copy process, the
Copy Project window will close as though everything ended
normally.

Make sure that the destination drive has sufficient free
space for the project. You can also delete some files from
the project before copying, such as .BAK/.BSC files (backup
files), or .XNF files (which can be regenerated later).
