Solution 1:
Xilinx has an XC9500 embedded application note describing
howto program an XC9500 CPLD in-system from an
8051 Microcontroller.
This App note can be found on the Xilinx Web site

You will find the application note under XAPP Note #58,
"XC9500 In-System Programming Using an 8051 uC."

The file names eisp_sn.tar.Z, eisp_hp.tar.Z,eisp_sol.tar.Z
