faults.qof

Problem Description:
Urgency: standard

General Description:

XBLOX: Running XBLOX for Sun4 on Solaris on remote machine gives "UNIX
error ENOENT" after loading defaults.qof.

Running the Sparc (Sun4) version of XBLOX on a Solaris system that is rsh'd
to a second remote Solaris system may result in the following error:

    INFO: File /<path_to_XACT_directory>/data/defaults.qof loaded
    successfully
! UNIX error ENOENT (No such file or directory)
    ! Goal:
    open_file('<path_to_design>/design.run/demo2.blx',write,_15318)
ERROR: Could not open report output file demo2.blx

Internal Error! Unexpected return to top level.

Solution 1:

XBLOX will only work on Solaris if it is run on a local machine. Since
XBLOX is not officially supported on Solaris, this problem is not scheduled
to be fixed.
