General Description:
While trying to open a file, if the following message is
reported:
Btrieve 88 : The application encountered an incompatible mode
error
Lm_acs : Btrieve cannot open file - '<filename>', err: 88
3839 LM internal error
Library Error = 3839
Solution 1:
The project manager may be trying to access a file that
is currently being used by another application. Close any
programs that may be accessing the file.
Solution 2:
This error can occur when <filename> is on a network,
and the file is locked.
If the file is being accessed by another user, you will not
be able to open the file until it has been released.
The file may also be locked if the application or system
crashed the last time this file was open (e.g. the PC
crashed while you were editing a schematic). Procedures
for unlocking the file will vary depending on the type of
network. Consult your systems administrator.
