General Description:
PPR terminates with the error:
Error 9004: The IOPAD <signal_name> must be placed in a dedicated pad location. Where <signal_name>
is the name of a signal in a design that connects an IPAD or IOPAD directly to a BUFGP or BUFGS.
Solution 1:
When a PAD is connected directly to a global buffer the PAD can only be placed in a dedicated locati
on. If this PAD is constrained (LOCed) to a location other than the dedicated pad then this error w
ill occur.
To locate the PAD to a non-dedicated location, insert an IBUF in front of the BUFG.
Warning: This will introduce additional routing delay.
