What is the OPT=MERGE attribute used for?
Solution 1:
Many users have seen this attribute in translated EDIF/ XNF
netlists. This attribute has been put on specific macros
which have a known optimization. It is not a user attribute.
The OPT=MERGE attribute forces logic to be collapsed forward.
Where as the OPT=ON attribute gives the fitter the choice.
