Record #2235

Product Family: Software

Product Line: FPGA Implementation

Product Part: logiblox

Product Version: 1.3.

Problem Title:
M1 LOGIBLOX: LogiBLOX Memfile will not accept all Memgen conventions

Problem Description:
Urgency: standard

General Description:

As detailed in the Dynatext LogiBLOX Reference/User guide,
the synatx for the LogiBLOX memfile does have differences from
from the XACT 5.2.x Memgen memfile.

Solution 1:

The LogiBLOX memfile syntax differs in the following ways:

- The LogiBLOX memfile does not support a PART declaration.

- The radix of the data section is set by the RADIX command in the that section. The radix cannot be
  overridden by using a
notation such as 2#1101#.

- The characters '#' and '_' are not allowed in the LogiBLOX
memfile.

- The depth value in the LogiBLOX memfile must be a multiple of
16. The valid range is 16 to 256 words.
