1.5i MAP, XC4000E/L/EX/XL: Map cannot use the DI input to source an HMAP (xc4000e/ex/xl)
Problem Description:
Urgency: standard
General Description:
The M1.3 Mapper currently cannot fit into a single CLB
functions which require three C inputs to directly drive the
HMAP function generator, even though it is supported in the
4000e/ex/xl architecture. The problem is related to the
fact that Map currently does not support using the DI pin
unless it drives a flip-flop or RAM data input.
Solution 1:
As a workaround, you can create the desired configuration in
EPIC, generate a physical ("hard") macro from it, and
instantiate this macro in your design.
