Problem Title:
Design Manager/Flow Engine M1: Screen turns black when Flow Engine is invoked on W95/NT
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
As soon as the Flow Engine is invoked to run Translate from within the Design
Manager, the screen completely turns black, except for a white blinking cursor
in the upper left hand corner. The machine does not actually "lock up", as
evidenced by the fact that the black screen goes away after the Flow Engine
has completed running.
Solution 1:
This resolution applies to WindowsNT:
1. Go to the Start button on the Taskbar under "Settings."
2. Click on "Control Panel."
3. Double-click on "Console" with the MS-DOS icon.
4. Under the Display Options, select "Window."
5. Click "Okay."
Solution 2:
This resolution applies to Windows 95:
In the C:\<windows>\system directory, there is a file called
CONAGENT.EXE.
1. Within Explorer, right click on this file and select
Properties.
2. Under the Screen tab, make sure that the Usage button
is set to Window, not Full-screen.
