Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description: When a design contains flops in the IOB, the timing analysis tools do not evalu
ate those flops. For example, say you have the following setup:
IPAD--input--IFD--FD--FD--OFD--output--OPAD
You have the following constraints
TIMESPEC TS_01 = FROM PADS(input) TO FFS 20ns;
TIMESPEC TS_02 = FROM FFS TO FFS 20ns;
TIMESPEC TS_03 = FROM FFS TO PADS(output) 20ns;
OFFSET = IN 22ns BEFORE CLK;
TRCE/Timing Analyzer will report 0 items analyzed for TS_01, TS_03, and OFFSET.
Solution 1:
These are not reported because they are Data Book guaranteed values. Refer to
the Data book for the full, partial and no delay values.
