When using Xepld <design> with the -pinfreeze problem this
error message is produced:

hi12:[Error]Keyword PIN_FREEZE:servo_cpu_decoder.gyd in the CTL
file is invalid.
tl62056:[Error] The design did not complete fitting. Please
examine
hi12:[Error]Keyword PIN_FREEZE:servo_cpu_decoder.gyd in the CTL
file is invalid.



Solution 1:

Resolution:

This error is the result of the name of the design being too
long. The workaround is to reduce the length of the design
name by renaming the input netlist file (.xnf) and re-run
xepld.
