Problem Title:
XABEL6, Foundation F1.x: EDIF netlists from XABEL in M1/F1 are encrypted.

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description:

XABEL6 (included with Foundation F1.x) uses EDIF netlists instead of the XNF or Plusasm netlists whi ch were used in XACT5/6. In order to provide a keyless version of the ABEL compiler, XABEL writes ED IF netlists with encrypted contents to protect the 3rd party vendor.

Solution 1:

In order to verify the logical interpretation of the source design, you can use the .EQ3 file produc ed by XABEL. For a post-fit verification, the simprims-based simulation netlist can be used to ver ify the contents of the design.
