General Description:

When trying to open the Viewlogic Project Manager in Workview Office 7.31
using Windows 95, the window for Project Manager opens for a second, then
disappears. It is not possible to open/edit Project Manager.

This problem can be caused if windows registry files are somehow corrupted.
This is seen primarily within Windows 95.


Solution 1:

Close all the Workview Office applications and exit out of Workview Office
completely. Then, re-start WorkView Office and open the Project Manager.



Solution 2:

If Resolution 1 is unsuccessful,

1) Close all the windows applications, including the Workview Office toolbar.

2) From Windows START -> Run , open "regedit" (w/o double quotes).

3) Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. This folder will expand and
    will show you the sub-folders.

4) Double click on Software folder.

5) Double click on Viewlogic folder.

6) Double click on Viewlogic Project Manager.

7) Single click on Recent File List folder to highlite this.

8) From Edit-> do Delete. (delete the entire folder)

9) Reboot your system, start Workview Office and open the Project Manager.
