M1.x: EPIC - How to use EPIC commands to globally lock components.
Problem Description:
It is possible to quickly lock large groups of components using EPIC commands.
Solution 1:
1. Load design into EPIC
2. Type "a" to open EPIC command line window.
3. Run command: "select comp *PULLUP*" (selects all matching components)
4. Run Command: "setattr locate lock:hard:1 block off" (locates selected components)
5. Save design to write locate constraints to the .pcf file.
