Answers Database Foundation F1.3, Logic Simulator: Simulator will hang if status line has been deselected Record #3175 Problem Title: Foundation F1.3, Logic Simulator: Simulator will hang if status line has been deselected Problem Description: Urgency: Standard General Description: The Foundation Logic Simulator used to load the netlist properly, however it now hangs with a grey background showing. Only the Netlist Loading window and Menu selections appear. Clicking on "Cancel" has no affect either. Solution 1: This occurs if either intentionally or inadvertently, the status line was deselected from the Logic Simulator Menu: View -> Status Line The workaround is the following: 1) Ctrl-Alt-Delete to bring up the Windows NT Security     Click on Task Manager     Select the Logic Simulator and click on End Task 2) Go to the Foundation Project Manager     File -> Configuration -> View Ini File (Susie.ini)     Search -> Find -> enter in "status" 3) In the [Simulator] section, you should find the following:     Status Bar=Off 4) Manually edit this to read:     Status Bar=On 5) Save -> Exit -> OK The Logic Simulator should now load properly when invoked. *NOTE: This issue has been resolved in Foundation F1.4 End of Record #3175 - Last Modified: 03/03/99 11:41
