Problem Title:
XC9500: Miscellaneous programming questions

Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard

General Description:

Various questions regarding the programming order and usercode in the XC9500 CPLDs

Solution 1:

Is there a specific `BIT' order in which the XC9500 parts are programmed? For Example, are the Global Set/Reset lines programmed first?

There is no specific order to programming the functional elements in the device. The part is programmed as a whole, function block by function block.

Solution 2:

Where is the USERCODE written in the bitmap and can I write a usercode directly to the CPLD without using the JEDEC bitmap?

The USERCODE bits are distributed all around the array as individual bits in specific programming locations. Currently, there is no way of writing the USERCODE without using the JEDEC bitmap, as the USERCODE gets written in to the JEDEC file during the BITSTREAM state in the Flow Engine.
