Problem Description: Urgency: Standard General Description: When trying to read in a back-annotated netlist into the foundation timing simulator, an error is produced: General Protection Fault. The simulator will not load. Solution 1: This problem seems to be related to long instance and hierarchy names in the netlist. A current workaround is to manually use a text editor to search and replace some of the long names with more abbreviated names. Be sure to replace all occurrances of the name you are replacing or the netlist will not work properly. Refer to the Foundation message log window in the Project Manager to determine which netlist to edit (usually an EDO or EDN file). This problem should be fixed in F1.4.
