General Description:
In the Viewlogic Project Manager for Workview Office 7.31 and later, the
Primary or Project directory cannot have any spaces in the directory path.
If there are spaces, then the following error will occur while trying to
start Viewdraw.
The window will pop up titled "Initialization Errors written to viewdraw.err".
In this window, you will see:
Line 189. dir[p]<directory path> Directory specification error
Line 195 Must specify primary directory
<directory path>\VIEWDRAW.INI: 2 errors.
Solution 1:
Remove any spaces in the directory path in Windows Explorer. Then return to
the Workview Office Project Manager and update the Primary Directory to match
the revised directory without spaces.
In Workview Office 7.31, click on the Browse button and select the newly
revised directory path.
In Workview Office 7.4/7.5, go to Edit->Project directory. Select the newly revised directory path
and click OK.
You will then have to go to File->Save as. Select a name for the Project.
It can be the same name as previous and click on save. This will update the
viewdraw.ini file and you will now be able to open Viewdraw.
