Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
Attempting to modify a design (for example, swapping CLB's)
with EPIC produces the following error.
basep: This component is part of a macro.
basep: Cannot swap macro component.
The CLB that needs to be modified is part of an EPIC "macro."
Solution 1:
Unbind the macro before making the changes.
1. In the "EPIC List" window, select "Macs All" to view the
macros in the design.
2. In the "EPIC List" winodw, select the macro that contains
the CLB(s) that required modification.
3. In the main window, under the "Edit" pulldown menu, click
on "Unbind."
Now, the changes can be made.
