M1.4: Spartan devices do not appear in the Part Selector dialog box
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
After only installing the Spartan family software components
during the Alliance 1.4 installation process, the Part Selector
dialog box in Design Manager will show the Spartan and 4000E
families, but the device, package and speed grade pull-down
menus will remain blank not allowing any part to be chosen.
Solution 1:
Repeat the Alliance 1.4 installation.
In the "Select Software Components to be Installed" dialog
box during the Alliance 1.4 installation, make sure that
both the Spartan and the 4000E component is checked.
Continue with the regular installation.
