as a stand alone?
Problem Description:
URGENCY: Standard.
DESCRIPTION: Sometimes, it's necessary to download from another PC which doesn't have the complete M
1.3 installation. How (if possible) can you use the JTAG programmer to download to a cpld? There are
no files on the web to do this.
Solution 1:
From M1.3, use the "Core Technology CD." When you come across the "Select Type of Installation," sel
ect "Lab Machine Installation." This installation allows you to run the JTAG programmer, PROM file f
ormatter, shared DLLs, and Hardware debugger and only takes up to 10MB.
Solution 2:
For M1.4, use the "Design Implementation Tools" CD. For the type of installation, select "Lab Machin
e Installation." This will take up 11MB and also consists of the JTAG programmer, PROM file formatte
r, shared DLLs, and the Hardware Debugger.
