The version 2 schematic of the JTAG/Parallel download cable is on the web at:

The additions to the schematic are the U1 & U2 components that are fed to the DONE pin.
For your parallel cable to work w/the schematic, make sure your parallel cable serial # is greater
than 5000 (i.e. JT-00996 won't work w/the current schematic on the web)
