General Description:
The coregen.log only records certain options that are set when generating
a core on the PC platform.


Solution 1:

Startup errors and warnings on PCs:

Startup errors, warnings and status messages on PCs are logged in a
separate cgstart.log file, so check here for startup errors. (cgstart.log is a PC platform-specific file that is not generated on UNIX systems.)

cgstart.log is located in $COREGEN\wkg

Viewlogic symbol generation messages on All platforms:

Check the vllink.log file in the Coregen project directory for Viewlogic
symbol generation-related errors.
