M1.4 Timing: Do NOT use the FTP patch M1.3.7 speed files for EX
Problem Description:
Urgency: Hot
General Description:
The patched speed files for the XC4000EX that were available
on the Xilinx FTP site have erroneous values for the quad line
line resources (for M1.3 only). Immediately discontinue use of
these speed files. This problem is limited to the 4000EX, and
not the XL or E parts.
Solution 1:
The original speed files shipped on the M1.3 CD do not have
this problem. However, the best solution is to update to M1.4,
which does not have the problem.
